Bio
for Coach Watson
Malcolm
began coaching basketball in 1998 in the Chantilly house league.
He quickly moved from house to Chantilly boys travel for two
years and then on to coach Southwestern Youth Association's (SYA) travel Boys
12 for past 3 years. His boys D1 U12 team were the BRYC 2006
Thanksgiving tournament champions. They also won the FCYBL
'06/'07 season Championship.
Malcolm
has been the assistant coach to Dave Hannah on the Vogues
National 10's, assistant to Jody Patrick Vogues 11 National
team and assistant to Jeff Benjamin 2006 National 6 grade
Championship team. In 2007, Malcolm coached the Vogues 14
Regional team. He is currently an Assistant JV/Varsity coach at
Marshall H.S. His philosophy on coaching is stressing
fundamentals, pressure defense and team work. He takes
pride in being apart of the Vogues organization. He enjoys
working with youth boys and girls feels that it is a
privilege to do so.
