2009 Team Roster

Arthur has been a coach with the Vogues since 1999. He has coached 14s and 15s regional teams and has been an assistant on two national teams.  His teams have earned medals in several Division-II Qualifying Tournaments.  

Arthur has been an Assistant Girls Varsity coach at Robinson Secondary for the past three years.  Prior to Robinson, he has served three years as an Assistant at Jefferson and one at Lake Braddock.

Arthur focuses on the development of fundamental skills and basketball intelligence of players. He places great emphasis on team basketball and the ability to play defense. Arthur believes that participation in team sports is a great opportunity to gain social skills and life lessons.  

Arthur is a Washingtonian and had a successful high school basketball career at Archbishop Carroll, earning All-Met and All-WCAC conference honors. Arthur is married and has three children, ages 21, 5 and yes, 2. Professionally, for the past decade Arthur has worked in youth development and community revitalization in underserved neighborhoods in the Washington Metropolitan area.
